London: Secker & Warburg, 1981. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good / Fine. The book itself is very clean, bright and pleasing. A previous owner, a very enthusiastic one at that, has writting in ink on the front paste-down, a list of charcters from the book, their titles and duties. Very neat printing but, c'mon, that's why we have notebook paper.....
London: Collins, 1958. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine / Near Fine. Export edition, the only difference being there is no price on the dust jacket. This precedes the Domestic Edition as well as the US Henry Holt Edition. Dust jacket art by Harry Toothill. A lovely copy. By the author of The Enemy Below.
