I'll Grind Their Bones

London: George G. Harrap & Co., (1937). First UK Edition. Hardcover. Very Good / Very Good. Original purple cloth, lettered in gold to the spine. 8vo - 326 pp. In a bright and wonderful example of the scarce dust jacket. The jacket is price-clipped. Some very minor edge-wear. A triangular closed tear along the bottom edge of the front panel, now full closed and flat but showing crease lines. The jacket art is by Vernon Sofer. There is some off-setting from the spine of the jacket to the spine of the book. An amazing book in that it predicts with some uncanny accuracy the upcoming storm of destruction looming toward Europe. The U.S. edition was issued in 1936. We follow the character John Keats, as he tries to make sense of what is happening in France and Germany. A fascinating novel.
