This is due, in part, to a somewhat amatuerish repair job to the internal hinges. There is dis-coloration at the hinge - some kind of glue I suppose but it is contained just to the hinge area. Not the greatest look, but the book is very strong. Fourteen full page color illustrations. This copy also comes with the scarce dust jacket. The jacket is complete. The jacket looks to be married, as some of the books advertised on the flap were issued after 1939.
