This volume contains the seed for a 1955 film noir - "Footsteps In the Fog," starring Stewart Granger and Jean Simmons. The screenplay is based on "The Interruption" by W. W. Jacobs and contained herein. The very rare dust jacket is bright and clean though there is some minor edge-wear and some clear archival reinforcement to the verso, at the spine and hinges.
