New York: George H. Doran Company, (1917). First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine / Good. Original dark orange cloth, lettered in black to the front panel and spine. With a Foreward by General Bramwell Booth. The extremely rare dust jacket is complete with some minor chips - one to the lower right corner of the front panel and another at the top of the spine impacting the L and S of Souls. There is also a small hole on the spine, about two inches up from the foot. The rear panel has some closed tears and some creasing. Still, a very nice copy of an important and early World War I narrative. The jacket is rarely seen in any condition. This book was co-published by Doran and Hodder & Stoughton, with their names present on the title page. This copy, the American edition, has the "One Dollar Net" price present on the spine of the jacket.
