Death Registers At The Eagle Arms

Dundee and London: Oberon Press, no date but ca. 1947. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine / Very good. Original blue cloth, lettered in black to the front panel and spine. 8vo - 208 pp. The book is clean, bright and solid. The lovely dust jacket has some minor rubbing, some chips to the foot of the spine and a small hole to the middle of the spine. The rear panel is soiled. The date is a guess. Even Hubin lists the date as 194?. Set in Scotland during World War II, the Northeast I think, somewhere between St. Andrews and Aberdeen. A small coastal Inn. Thirteen guests. What could possibly go wrong? The twist with this title is that it's not just a murder mystery but more so a tale of espionage. Frost is the pseudonym of Christopher Dalgety. A very good book and extremely scarce.
