New York: Phoenix Press, 1940. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good / Very Good. Original blue boards, lettered in dark blue to the front panel and spine. 8vo - 256 pp. The book is solid and tight but is a bit dusty. The complete dust jacket has a closed tear to the front panel and some rubbing to the spine ends. Cover art, I believe - and am willing to be corrected - is by Edward D'Ancona, a somewhat famous though elusive illustrator. The cover art does say "Baron - Ancona." I do not know what the "Baron" stands for. Edward D'Ancona frequently signed his name just as "Ancona." See "The Night Flower" by Walter C. Butler.
