The complete jacket has the original 7s 6d price present on the bottom edge of the front flap. There is minor edgewear to the jacket and one very small closed tear at the foot of the spine. This copy is warmly inscribed and signed by the author to Otto and Carolyn Penzler to the front free endpaper and dated 1982(?). It is signed again by the author at the head of the title page. This copy is a very lovely example, and with the author's signatures present - a true rarity.
