The author lived with the Mackenzie River Eskimos, and other northern indiginous groups, and existed on a meat and/or meat and fish diet only. This book tells of that experience. This volume comes from the collection of acclaimed aviator, sailer, and adventurer, Steve Fossett. After his untimely death in 2007, his vast collection of travel and exploration books was placed at auction. This volume has Steve Fossett's book-plate on the front paste-down.
