Octavo, xxvii, 651pp. Compiled by Workers of the Writers' Program of the Work Projects Administration in the State of Wisconsin. With twelve in-text maps. The green cloth is mottled on the front panel. The text is clean and solid. The negative attributes of this book are all external. There is taped in at the rear a legal sized envelope, empty, with the previous owner name stamped. He was a resident of Wisconsin. I do not know what he intended with this envelope. The book remains square and tight but is certainly not a fine looking specimen. The dust jacket, though price-clipped, is very clean, bright and pleasing.
