Co-sponsored by the Pennsylvania Historical Commision and the University of Pennsylvania. Illustrated throughout with sixteen in-text maps and one large folding map in the rear pocket. The reverse of the folding map has smaller maps of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Map to the front endpapers. A solid copy. The spine has darkened somewhat and is a bit creased. The jacket is complete though has some wear to the heel of the spine and the corners. Still, a very solid copy. Lovely cover art by Howard Cook, showing the mural he executed for the main Pittsburgh Post Office. Dykes, #278.
