Illustrated with photographs and line drawings. The date is a guess. Scharf states he had a copy with a previous owner inscription dated 1940. Whereas the Library of Congress dates the work to 1941. I went with the later date because the WPA Writers' Program Publication Catalogue of 1941 gives the date as 1941. Majority wins. One of the few WPA publications which was presented as a limited edition. This volume has a colophon stating that 1000 copies were printed and this copy is numbered 436. A very clean, bright and solid copy in the complete dust jacket showing minor wear to the head of the spine. Dykes, #151.
