With stage settings and sketches by C. Ricketts. This copy inscribed, signed and dated by Shaw at the half-title. The book is one quarter cloth at the spine with the remainder being paper on boards. The paper spine label is perfect. The complete jacket shows moderate edge-wear on the front panel which is illustrated but still remains quite nice. The rear panel is plain buff paper but has a larger piece missing, 6 inches wide and two inches tall, along the bottom edge near the fore-edge. A very impressive copy, scarce in any condition, but signed by Shaw and with an acceptable dust jacket, very rare.
