Brain-Waves And Death
New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1940. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good / Near Fine. Original green cloth lettered in blue. Top edge stained blue, somewhat mottled. A murder is committed in a laboratory just North of Boston. In a locked room with many witnesses either listening or viewing camera images taken every few seconds. Yet, as Sargeant Hallihan states; "But the man is killed very dead." A classic, though with a twist, locked room mystery. Very nice evocative dust jacket art by Cobbledick. Very minor edge rubbing to the edges of the jacket.Listed in Hubin. Now housed in a blue buckram drop-back box.
