The Ascent Of Nanda Devi
TILMAN, H. W.
Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 1937. First printing. Hardcover. Very Good / near fine. An extremely nice copy of this very important mountaineering volume. At the time of writing, Nanda Devi was the highest mountain ever climbed by man. Original blue cloth lettered in gilt at the spine. The boards are lighly soiled but remain strong and the corners true. A previous owner name and date (1958) are present on the front free endpaper. With 36 photogravure plates and two maps.
