This copy now specially bound in full black goat skin, elaborately blind tooled, black on black. This background is then enhanced with a black and red celtic knot pattern. The front board is then further decorated with a silver lined depiction of a warrior. This image is a replica of the original design motif from the Random House publication. Beautiful bronze and black scallop patterned endpapers. Now housed in a large 1/4 leather black drop-back box with beautiful large red title letters to the spine. With eight lovely lithographs executed by Rockwell Kent. This copy is "signed" by a thumb print from Rockwell Kent at the limitation page, as usual with this title. However, it is signed again at the half-title in cursive with yet another finger print below that - I don't know for certain which digit. Verse translation by William Ellery Leonard. All together a one of a kind volume, now presented in the finest possible way.
