Jack The Outlaw

London: Simpkin, Marshall, Hamilton, Kent, & Co., (1926). First edition. Hardcover. Very Good / Very Good. Original red cloth on boards, lettered in black on the front panel and the spine. Previous owner name to the front paste-down. Occasional page creasing to the top right corner seemingly from an aggressive page turner anxiously looking forward to the next page. The lovely dust jacket has minor wear to all areas of creasing, hinge corners etc. There are two curious vertical crease marks to the spine of the jacket. All text and illustrations remain very bright. Dust jacket art by Ogle. Set in North Yorkshire, this novel tells the story of Jack Sincler, or "King Jack of Yorkshire." A very nice copy of a scarce volume.
