Lovely volume bound in full smooth morocco with gilt borders and elaborately decorated spine with 6 compartments and red title label and green author label, lettered in gilt. The hinges have been repaired. There is a shadow line on the front board. Folding map of Cambridge plus four plates with engraved images of the colleges, the founders and coats of arms. The map is moderately foxed but very readable with the hinges remaining strong. All edges marbled as well as marbled endpapers.
