The English Brig Neptune was wrecked in a violent snow storm on the 12th of January, 1830, on her passage from Bristol to Quebec. John Smith was the Chief Mate of the Neptune. Engraved frontispiece. Some minor damp-staining. Still, a lovely copy of this extremely rare book. No auction records after 1999.
