Volume one contains three fold-out maps; One of the approaches to New York, one of the Northern Chesapeake Bay region, and the third, a much more detailed map depicting the attack on Cadiz in 1596. There are also four color plates showing the types of vessels involved in the Cadiz attack. Altogether a very fine set, and remarkably scarce.
