Pictoral title image plus four more full page black and white illustrations including the frontispiece with numerous chapter-heading, chapter-ending and internal vignettes throughout, all by the hand of Robert Lawson. The jacket is price-clipped but has a 3/6 price to the spine. Small U shaped chip to the foot of the rear panel with no impact on text or image. This title appeared in the U.S. the previous year. Contains two separate adventures; The Night Of The Big Wind and Coggelty-Curry. In the first adventure our Wee Men are blown out of Ballywooden by the big wind and, in the second, they set sail to chase down the purloined Wee Fairy Bagpipes at the hands of the jackdaw. A really lovely copy in all respects.
