With forty etchings by Robert Motherwell on twenty folded leaves. From a limited edtion of 150 and 25 (1-XXV) hors de commerce copies, this one being number XX. Signed by Robert Motherwell at the limitation page. Printed on Perpetua type on French mould-made Jonannot paper, with an even heavier paper employed for the etchings. Accompanying this work is "The Ulysses Etchings of Robert Motherwell." This is a soft covered work, bound in gray/blue card stock, blocked and lettered in black to the cover. This work consists of an interview of Robet Motherwell conducted by David Hayman in Provincetown, Massachusetts, on July 12 and 13, 1988. This work is also published by Arion Press and was issued in an un-numbered limited edition of 250 copies. This is also fine. It is such a joy when a great work of literature is matched with one of the greatest fine presses of the late 20th Century and an equally brilliant artist who just happens to love the depth and breadth of this wonderful novel. A three-way match of brilliant talent.
